In light of announcements made by UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson on Tuesday 22nd September, it is with regret that Event Partners, the show organisers, are required to move Vehicle Electrification Expo and Battery Cells & Systems Expo, and their co-located events The Advanced Materials Show and Ceramics UK, to 7th & 8th July 2021.
Adam Moore, CEO of Event Partners says: “We had hoped to be pioneers, one of the few event organisers to deliver a safe and much needed face-to-face meeting place for the industry, in the UK this year. We were fully prepared, and hoping, to go ahead in December. However, following the latest announcement about ongoing restrictions as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic we have, in close collaboration with our Founding Partners and Advisory Board, moved swiftly to reschedule these industry events to July 2021. We are confident that through doing this that we will be able to deliver a first-class, global celebration in the heart of UK manufacturing, without compromise.”
The show has already attracted significant interest and support with attendance confirmed from leading organisations, including Jaguar Land Rover, Airbus, Arrival, Rolls Royce Aerospace, Bentley, Nissan, Mercedes F1, A123 Systems, Panasonic, Red Bull Racing, Dupont along with the UK Government’s Secretary of State for Transport, Grant Schapps.
Battery Cells & Systems Expo will bring together automotive manufacturers, electric utilities, battery system integrators, cell manufacturers and the entire manufacturing supply chain. The show will benefit from the rapid growth in the manufacturing of electric and hybrid vehicles in the UK along with the significant investments being made in domestic battery manufacture and research. Featuring a global list of exhibitors and speakers, the entire world of battery manufacturing and integration will gather in the heart of UK manufacturing, Birmingham.
Vehicle Electrification Expo will bring together the entire supply chain involved in electric and hybrid vehicle manufacture and development showcasing the very latest technologies for this rapidly growing market. This will be a highly concentrated two days of networking, lead generation and education featuring the leaders and innovators responsible for shaping the future of this industry.
