Bryan Pryor

Bryan Pryor is the Global Technical Specialist for Engine and Transmission Lubrication Systems at General Motors. With over 20 years of experience in the lubrication field and more than 10 years as a Technical Specialist, Bryan has made significant contributions to the industry.

Throughout his career, Bryan has focused on optimizing variable displacement oil pumps to enhance the overall efficiency of lubrication systems. He also has worked extensively on oil thermal management and dry sump systems. His innovative work has earned him 18 patents, and he has published many additional internal and external peer reviewed papers.
One of Bryan’s notable achievements includes leading the team that developed and published USCAR 46 – Engine Oil Pump Performance and Durability Test Procedures.

Bryan holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Missouri-Rolla (now Missouri University of Science & Technology) and a M.E. in Global Automotive & Manufacturing Engineering from the University of Michigan.
