Alex has spent nearly a decade in the automotive sector, latterly developing solutions for electrification of EVs before transitioning into the recycling sector. Since being at EMR he has worked to establish the Battery Recycling Centre, capable of processing around 2,000Tonnes per year of Lithium Ion batteries covering all aspects from identification, removal from the product, state of health assessment, and triage for repair, second life, or recycling. He is now developing the next stage, of battery shredding to black mass and other critical material recovery.
