EEVAM x EPSIM: Vehicle Conversion Optimization in 4X4’s from higher gearbox performance, and greater improvements to gear exchange batteries

We are delighted to be welcoming EEVAM Technologies to exhibit at the Vehicle Electrification Expo, co-located with the Battery Cells and Systems Expo at the NEC in Birmingham on the 28th and 29th June 2023. EEVAM (“Engineering, Electric Vehicles and Advanced Mobility”) Technologies, was born from the motivation to take part in the path that today’s society is undertaking towards new, cleaner, safer and more efficient mobility alternatives, with the electric vehicle at the forefront.

Recharging an Electric Vehicle (EV) is different from charging its battery. In 2013, EPSIM Corporation developed a business model based on battery swapping. It is obvious that the interchangeability between battery technology and vehicles is a necessary condition for the success of the EV market. To prove this point, EPSIM converted a 2 Willys CJ1948A – affectionately called ‘Magneto’ – to electric with battery swapping. The conversion took a year, including the restoration of the vehicle’s structure, and was completed in June 2021.
