Thursday, 14 January 2021
Battery Cells & Systems Expo and Vehicle Electrification Expo will take place on the 7th & 8th July 2021 at the UK’s leading exhibition venue, the NEC Birmingham, UK. This unique, free-to-attend exhibition and conference for manufacturers, users and the entire supply chain working to increase battery performance, cost and safety is hosted in partnership with leaders from across the advanced battery and electric vehicle industries. The 2020 digital events brought together 3000+ attendees, 80+ speakers and 200 exhibitors, with the 2021 live event shaping up to be the event to attend for the advanced battery and EV industry.
The 2021 exhibition and four-track conference will feature practitioners and pioneers from across the battery and EV sectors. Speakers will be taking to the stage to share their expertise on advancing electrification both in the UK and worldwide. In the midst of an exciting programme of panel debates, interactive discussions, round tables and fireside chats, attendees can also expect to find the latest updates on the UK’s ambitious electrification plans and exciting battery projects underway. The agenda also features plenty of opportunities to gather with peers and discuss how to move the global sector forward both on a technical and commercial front. The discussion is set to address Li-ion alternatives, manufacturing of EVs, cells and packs, market forecasts, tear downs, improving environmental impacts, supply chain management, solid state, thermal management, ultrafast charging, improving diversity in the engineering sector, advanced powertrain development, electric machines, power electronics, commercial vehicles, e-motorsports and much more. This is a rare chance to gain access on a complimentary basis to an industry-leading programme and is not to be missed.
Organisations featuring at the event include Britishvolt, Tata Motors, Innovate UK, Nissan, Johnson Matthey, Arrival, Mahle Powertrain, Clarios, Faraday Institution, Wildcat Discovery Technologies, Ilika, BorgWarner and Romeo Power to name a few already signed up to attend the show in July.
Battery Cells & Systems Expo and Vehicle Electrification Expo will be co-located with the leading The Advanced Materials Show and Ceramics UK, bringing together three connected industries for two days of networking, lead generation and education at the NEC, Birmingham.
Alex Oliver, Event Director of Battery Cells & Systems Expo and Vehicle Electrification Expo says “As 2020 saw all live events being postponed due to the Coronavirus pandemic we are very much looking forward to being back to meeting customers, colleagues and peers face to face in July at the UK’s top exhibition venue, the NEC Birmingham. We are absolutely delighted with the industry-wide support we have seen for Battery Cells & Systems Expo and Vehicle Electrification Expo, from major global organisations, start-ups and thought-leaders in advanced materials helping to shape the events. The battery sector in the UK is undergoing an unprecedented level of growth currently driven by both government and private investment. Battery Cells & Systems Expo and Vehicle Electrification Expo will bring the global battery industry to a UK audience of buyers, engineers, integrators and developers from the automotive and power generation sectors as well as the entire manufacturing supply chain”.
