Clinton leads the Engineering team at Hyperbat, which includes the Manufacturing, Advanced Manufacturing, Welding, and Testing engineering groups. His team develops and implements comprehensive manufacturing and testing processes and equipment for customer-defined battery modules and packs. From initial concept to full-scale production, Clinton and his team are involved in every stage of the product lifecycle, ensuring quality and innovation throughout. Quality and Innovation are fundamental, but there is also a great focus on Design for Manufacture, Agile development, Capex and Opex reduction and Cross functional working.​

Clinton has over 20 years of experience in the automotive manufacturing industry, having worked for European and Japanese OEMs across a wide range of local and international roles in vehicle manufacturing, product development and quality. His experience spans both low and high volume auto manufacturing. He has spent the last five of those years in EV battery manufacture. He also has experience leading transformation projects in Deep tech areas such as Laser equipment manufacturing, implementing Lean manufacturing techniques into traditionally bespoke build environments.
